Hello Thomas, i've been watching your video presentation of emile js over and over again and I can't figure one thing. In the second animation function that uses the getTime() function how do you calculate the speed? For the first simple function it was simple 1px in 0,010 secs so 100times/set. But in the second one the formula is (frame*1000) in 0,010 but frame depends on the getTime. And i figured that getting time every 10ms would get values that increment by 10 ms byt that isn't so(as firebug shows) so I can't really calculate the renders/sec.

When you first presented emile i tried it on a company site (you could see it in action visiting http://www.handcrafted-software.com <-- feel free to remove ), is a very tiny website, static-html based, colorful and (at least i hope ^^) as fast as possible. Now i reccommend emile when someone needs a lightweight effects library. Many thanks Thomas :)

[...] Emile.js talk (video & slides) – Thomas Fuchs обяснява неговия mini css animation framework – Emile.js. Който е само 51 реда (+ празните редове и Copyright-а ). Много полезно и абсолютно задължително за тези които не искат цял живот само да ползват неща, които не разбират. [...]

@Krijn I use Safari/QuickTime with the plugin from http://xiph.org/quicktime/ -- note to readers: Firefox & Chrome should support the video natively.

Have a nice time in NZ, it's such a wonderful country. There's a saying that NZ is a little bit like Austria, but not so crowded and with its own sea (well, we had that until 1918 ;-))
